Kitz Girlz first guest designer!

Ok…we had our first ever guest  designer for Kitz  Girlz!  She is…..Frances Sylvia!    Frances is a wonderful designer and a wonderful person too!  We were so excited to give her one of our October Kitz just to see what she would come up with.  She ended up making 2 one pagers, a card and a Halloween hanging!  They are all to “Die” for!!!  Thank you Sylvia for sharing your creativity with us!!!  Here is a little more about Frances copied straight from her blog.

About Me

I am the lucky wife of Chris (8 years) who makes me laugh and keeps me guessing. The mommy of three sassy girls, Annalise (8), Gracie (7), and Vivian (4), and one rambunctious boy, Brock (3). I live to visit New York every summer to see my spirited sister. I am a Junior High English teacher (Yes, pray for me)who yearns for my students to succeed. I can not live without Starbuck’s coffee, my laptop, the internet, my BLOG, and my Nikon Coolpix. I am a scrapbook fanatic whose creativity is only limited by time…I love my life!

Now here are the wonderful things she did with our October Kit!

A new Surprise Class!

We had a bunch of beautiful ladies attending a local scrapbooking event in town come to our store this past weekend.  First of all, it was a compliment just to have them come in our store!  But,  when they asked us if we would be interested in teaching a class for them Saturday evening, it was an offer that was so flattering, I couldn’t turn it down!  We let them thumb through our classes to find something that they would be interested in.  They chose one of Wendy’s layouts that she did for the month of August.  Since Wendy was unable to teach the class, Connie and Heather Bares stepped in to help.  What do you get when you mix a Wendy and Connie class together?  A Designer Calendar class!!!!  Connie let everyone pick out their own papers and we taught them the Treasured Memories Spectum & climbing Ribbon Techniques!  The layouts were to die for!!!!  So was the posing in our Imagination Studio.  I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard in a long time!  These ladies are alot of fun!!!  Thanks Heather and Connie for doing this class at the last minute….and a special thanks to our ladies from Metairie, Texas and Florida for supporting our store!   Here are some fun pictures…

Happy Birthday Mia!

We had a really cute birthday party this past Sunday!  These girls were celebrating Mia’s birthday!!!!  They were 7th graders from Fatima.  The girls were so much fun and learned how to make Treasured Memories  magnetic boards!  They were all sooooo good, and all of them were sooooo creative in their on way!  They also gave us some good ideas for future Kid’s camps and birthday parties!  I’m so glad Mia shared her birthday and friends with us for the day!!!!  Also, a special thanks to Wendy for helping me teach the class!!!!  One of the girls looked up at Wendy and said, “Mrs. Wendy, you can work miracles!”  I think she can too.

Garage Sale Frenzy!

We all just love Garage Sales.  Especially when all of the stuff is scrapbook related!  We had so much fun this past Saturday with everyone who shopped …. and a special thanks to those who dropped off their goodies to sell!  This was one of the most successful garage sales we’ve ever had!  I couldn’t believe how bare the tables were at the end of the day!  Here are some pictures……
