The class will be started on Friday evening and will take all day Saturday to complete.  When you leave, you will have a beautiful altered book to keep all your “Treasured Memories”!  You can bring your pictures to the crop, but you can also fill it up with pictures later too.  Your book will have plenty of room for lots of pictures, keepsakes and journaling.

I can’t wait for October to get here!!!!

Cropping Talent at the Lodge…

I am starting to get addicted to weekend retreats!  I set up a booth at Paula’s Crop in Scott this past weekend.  There were about 50 people there.  Some were are regular customers, but we also had some people there we’ve never seen before!  It was so nice meeting all of you!  In addition to running the booth, I actually did 3 layouts!  And my teachers, Wendy and Connie, they both created amazing works of art that sets the scrapbooking style here in Lafayette!  Connie and Wendy taught their newest scrapbooking styles. People all around us were taking pictures and actually trying these cool techniques!    I am just amazed at how scrapbooking is forever evolving!  DSC_0884 Wendy Reaux                   Janet Gaar                       Connie Giraurd

On a roll…..

After last weekend I’ve gotten on a scrapbooking roll!  Me, Connie and Wendy had another crop night at the store.  It’s really fun cropping with your fellow teachers….we all tend to have great chemistry cropping together!  I’m a pretty simple scrapbooker, and I’m pushing myself to follow the trends.  It’s been so much fun!!!   Take a look at some of the layouts we did last night…..

Wow! What a weekend of creating fun!

Ok…this is the first time I’ve gotten away for a weekend and cropped!  I know that’s hard to believe, but I usually work events.  Finding time to crop is truly a luxury!

Our friend Karen invited me, Connie, Melissa and Wendy up to her camp in St. Francesville for the weekend.  It was such a wonderful get away!  Besides all the creating going on, we watched movies and stayed up late every night giggling.  I think Karen was a little shocked how much we are all like sisters……and I have to say, we really are!  We’ve been together for a long time!

Here are some pictures of the camp and pictures of some of our layouts.  Hey, you can actually check out Wendy and Melissa’s Blogs….they’ve already posted their layouts!!!
