Play the Design Team Challenge!

Ok.  I can’t tell you how much talent our Design Team has!  They met last Wednesday night to put together some layouts with some products that I just got in and wanted to see used and in hours they came up with these layouts!  They are just so awesome!!!!  We have 8 design team members and they paired off.  Can you  guess who’s layout is who’s????  The first person to guess it correctly on the blog comments will be the winner of a $25 gift certificate to the store!

The products used was our new canvas tags and shapes from Donna Downey!  I can’t wait for her class in less than 2 weeks!  The other challenge was the laser cut sheets from KI memories.  I just love those!  You can cut them up and use them to enhance your page……

How to play:  There will be 4 answers…for example:  Brandy and Kay Lynn created layout #1, Lisa and Paula created layout #2…and so on.  (This is just a sample, may not actually be the answers.)  Good Luck!!!!

Our Design Team members are:  Aphra, Paula, Tanya, Liz, Brandy, Lisa, Patti & Kay Lynn

I survived Kid’s Camp

Not only did I survive, but I had a blast!  These girls were so much fun, and sooooo good!  The first day is always a bit confusing, but all of the students really warmed up fast to creative scrapbooking and made all kinds of new friends!  They had all kinds of fun!  One day we had Pajama Day.  Friday we had  Tropical Day and took pictures in the imagination Studio!  Maddy and Maddison entertained us with a dance they made up.  Haley’s Mom made cupcakes (they had tropical waves on them)!  Casey picked up our lunch everyday (Zoe’s, Cane’s, Pappa Johns).  A special thanks to Jodeen & Nicole for helping me out…I couldn’t have done the class without you!   I have to admit, I’m really tired…but it’s almost like Disney…..your tired from having so much fun!

Who are the Kitz Girlz?

Ok….ready a fun with an adventurous idea???

For all of you guys who love our classes, but just don’t have time to take them….or you live out of town and can’t take them, we have come up with an answer!  Wendy and I (Janet), have decided to join together to create class kitz!  We decided to each use our talents and create 2 layout ideas and pass them on to you with the complete supplies, instructions and sketch.    We will each create and design a layout with the same paper line and cool embellishments.  The kitz will include all paper, buttons, flowers and supplies 2 complete both layouts……plus, if we use any type of additional items to complete the layout (example: stickles, Diamond Glaze, Heidi Swapp Distressor), these will be included in the kit  with instructions on how to use also!

We’ve decided to take on the venture because we have so many people that ask us for class kits.  We don’t really like selling the store class kits because the kits wouldn’t include all the products that you would really need to complete the layout.  You would have to take the class to get that benefit.  Since we have so many people who want to take our classes from all over the United States, we’ve decided to create kits that include everything needed to complete the 2 layouts that our designed exclusively by us!  The only supplies you will need are your basics (Your preferred adhesives, cutter and scissors).

Where did we get Kitz Girl 1 and Kitz Girl 2?  At Reds they call us Thing 1 and Thing 2 (from Dr. Seuss)  So we came up with the idea of “Kits” and putting a creative twists to it “Kitz”.  Our business is Called “Kitz 2 Go” and so we decided to be called the “Kitz Girlz”!.  The idea was designed by us while we were walking on Red’s treadmill.    So when we work out….we get double benefit….working out and business meeting!  Some of our best ideas has come out of our Red’s workouts…..

Keeping the idea a secret was really hard.  Nobody knew about this idea until this week.  See, I can keep a secret!!!!  We have a blog and we are on Twitter.  You will be able to purchase the kits starting June 22nd (Monday) at the Treasured Memories Website.  We will start shipping the kits July 15th.  You can check up and follow us:

Here is our first kit!  We chose the paper line “Popsicle” from Bo-Bunny.  We both love Bo-Bunny, and when we say this paper we thought it was perfect to start out the summer!

Cost:  $35 if you pick it up at store

$40 if you have it mailed in the 48 states (does not include Alaska, Hawaii, Canada).  All other countries will be actual postage.

Back from Destin

We’re back!  Destin was so much fun!!!  It only rained 1 day….the rest of the week was all sunny with a cool breeze blowing… was soooo perfect!  Mike and I brought Cassidy and a friend of hers, Lexi.   Dakota wanted to stay behind and work.  Mike’s 2 boys don’t think it’s cool to go with parents to Florida.  It’s their loss!  It’s a wonderful get away that we do every year.  Here are some of my favorite pictures taken on the trip…I can’t wait to scrapbook them!DSC_0085DSC_0025DSC_0019DSC_0066DSC_0037DSC_0084
