Design Team News!

Our Design team took a 2 month break for Summer and is back just in time for creating with all our new products coming in!  We’ve received so many new things in the past few weeks!  Our store has also been rearranged again.  We can can now fit 30 people in or crop room!  We’ve made so much room for all the new paper’s we’ve received and that are coming!  We’ve also created more paper racks and have pulled over 1000 papers for our discount bin!

Our Design team met last Wednesday and turned in their projects!  They are now hanging in the store.  You can check out their blogs to see their creations:

Charlotte Cramer created this really awesome layout

(Layout removed for Publication)

Look at the cool ribbon and paper techniques done with the sewing machine!

At our Design team meating we started something new….creating several layouts made with brand new products!  Look how cool this layout was made with the Sassassafrass Lass line of papers and a cute way to use the Heidi Swapp mirrors.  These papers have flown off the shelf because of their decorative border on the bottom of every sheet!  I’ve already reordered and we’ll be getting in restocks and new things from Sassafrass Lass next week!

Check out more of Charlotte’s work on her blog!  She’s added so many new things!

The Heather also created this really cool layout made with the new BoBunny Christmas line.   I have to say that this Christmas paper is one of my favorite lines!  They layered ribbon, Prima bling & Maya Roads chipboard to give a stunning effect!

Check out Heather’s Design Team layout on her blog:

Jeanne Pellerin created an awesome layout!  Everyone coming to the store comments on how much they love the layout!  She used the Bazzill cardstock wth an edge and she actually journal on a picture and printed it for her layout!  Really cool Technique!

Jeanne loves Doodlebug paper and inspired this layout:

Check out her layouts and descriptions of how she created her layouts on her blog:

Lisa Geautreaux is working on her Disney book!  She actually made me the cutest MGM hat!  I loved hers so she paper pieced me one!  It is amazing!  She created this really cool layout of her little princess.

Check out Lisa’s blog to see how she created this beautiful layout!

I didn’t get pictures of Mandy’s and Lisa’a layouts.  LIsa had to leave early and is bringing hers back.  I hope to post them soon.  Mandy and Lisa haven’t had a chance to update her blog, but I hope to post their layouts soon!

Weekend Happenings…

We had such an awesome weekend!  Thanks everyone for coming to the store and sharing you day with us!

The Cricut class was so awesome!  I had customers tell me that even if they didn’t use the layout, they learned so much about the Cricut.  Next month Amy is doing a Halloween layout that is to die for!  Take a look at the fun everyone had:

Melissa’s had her glimmer mists class Saturday too!  It’s so wild how everyone’s book comes out so different!  If you missed this class Melissa will be teaching another glimmer mist class featuring “Nature”!

We had a nice show up for Connie’s Photoshop class!  She did a review of what she covered earlier this year.  She will be having another Photoshop class next month.  We will probably have about 3 more of these free sessions so take advantage of them!  Better pictures make better scrapbook pages!

Take a look at a few cool layouts designed at our store this weekend:

This layout was created by a beginner creating an album as a gift for her Mom and new Step Dad.  I was amazed how nice her first page came out!  Congratulations!

As a special last note I have to show Hunter and Landon’s cool creation!  It’s a rubber band shooter!  Good job boys!
