TM’s 12 tags for Christmas!

Ok…what crazy idea’s we have sometimes!  When I decided to do the 12 tags for Christmas, I had no idea the awesome response we would get!  I also had no idea how many hours of work it would be!  But it was all worth it!  I wanted every tag to be different, special and have different techniques on them!  I have to first of all, thank Paula, for working overtime and helping me create the tags.  Wendy also took time out of her busy schedule to design and help out with the tags too!

Here are our 12 tags of Christmas!  We do not have any of these tags left over.  They were all swooped up usually before 1 pm everyday!  We do have supplies to match your tags to your layout.  Regina, one of our customers, used our tags as a basis for a book she was giving for Christmas.  I’ll also show they layouts she created….I’ve already had customers buy everything Regina bought to duplicate her layout!  They are awesome!!

Tag 1 – “Let it Snow”

This tag was created with several cool techniques!  The snow was actually made with light weight molding paste topped off with glitter while it was wet.  The snow man was circles cut with the Cricut.  The “Let it Snow”, large snowflake, hat, scarf and arms of the snowman were all cut on the Cricut.  I had several people ask me how I created the hat & scarf and hands. That particular thing was on “Gypsy Wanderings”, cartridge loaded on the gypsy.  The background of the tag was a wash technique done with paints, topped off with Smooch “Pearl” Spritz.  The snowflakes were stamped with white Staz-on.  The mouth and eyes were made with Enamel Accents and Copper Stickles created the nose!!!  The tag matches are beautiful Bo-Bunny Midnight Frost line!!!

Enamel Accents is in stock now!!!  It really is a great product!!!

Also, have you tried the new Staz-on cleaner??  It is to die for!!  The Staz-on ink just dissolves like magic!!!  We also have it in stock right now!!
Tag #2 – Noel
This Tag was created by me, and I used an old paper line…..June Bug from Basic Grey.  Actually, Regina used the June Bug line to create her layout!  This isn’t even a Christmas line!  The back of the tag was done with a mixture of Versa Magic Inks…a technique that Beatriz taught us!  Beatriz will be back to teach 2 classes in February!  Your won’t want to miss it!!!  The Tag is accented with Glitter paper and our new Gold Mesh Ribbon.  We tore up a Poinsettia and used it’s petals as decoration for the tag.
On Regina’s layout, she also used “Little Yellow Bicycle’s” glittered chipboards.  they come in a package and they have a resist on them.  Really cool…and we have them in stock!!!
Tag #3 – Peace on Earth
Paula and I designed this Tag.  A special Thanks to Donna Lanclos for letting us borrow her Cricut Cartridge and providing the Vintage Clipart!!!  The back of the tag was created with Versa Magic Chalk Pads, a Beatriz technique.  The gate was cut with the Ornamental Iron Cartridge.  I don’t have that Cartridge yet…but it is a definite must for the store’s collection!  The gate and angels were decorated with Stickles (gold and Patina).   On Regina’s layout, she added Prima Camelot roses, Prima Jewel Leaves, and beaded ribbon, both are in stock!!!  The background paper was Basic Grey’s “Curio” line, Webster’s pages and Graphic 45’s Angel paper, which is also in stock!!
Tag 4 – Joyeaux Noel
I created this tag in about 10 minutes, and it’s one of my favorite’s!  I always say, my best creations are ones that I don’t have to think so much about.  The background was created with My Mind’s Eye Union paper line.  Just add a little feathers, vintage button, Webster’s Ribbon rose and Prima…and the tag is almost complete!  The Black Tulle is the bow and the Title is embossed with black embossing powder.  The clipart was given to us by Donna Lanclos.  Regina made her layout with Webster’s pages, Die cut paper and Prima Vines!  Also, because of popular demand, we will be making more of these tags…if you would like one you can buy one for $5, please call the store and pre-order it so we’ll know how many to make.
In Stock now…
Tag #5  – Holiday Cheer!
This was a fun tag to do and it all started with a Christmas tree gift tag!!!  The back of the 8″ x 4″ tag was topped off with white cardstock.  Then we inked the edges with Red Magic Versa Magic.  The title “Holiday Cheer” and  red snowflakes were stamped around the tag.  We added the tree.  We added a 3-D present, silver flower and lined the bottom of the tag with two different colors of paper cupcake holders.  We added red rhinestones and then added red and silver stickles to embellish the tag.  A beautiful striped ribbon tops off and  completes the tag.  The tag matches our Teresa Collins Christmas papers!  Regina also used our brushed silver specialty paper to her layout!
Tag 6 – Happy Holidays
Wendy created this fun tag!!!  The background of the tag was again created with Versa Magic ink pads.  The paper line Wendy used on her tag was Echo Park.  The title of the tag was embossed with black embossing powder.  Wendy used her mesh technique and created a backing for the Nut Cracker.  The Holly Leaves were cut out of the Echo Park Paper.  We added gold epoxy stars and added the color “Christmas Red” in Stickles.  The tag is topped off with a beautiful green lame ribbon.
Tag 7 – The Night before Christmas
This is another one of my favorite tags!  paula created this tag…and it is one that took us a while to put together!  But, it was well worth it!!  The fireplace was cut out of the Cricut with the wood paper.  The fireplace and flower pots were also cut out of the Cricut.  3-D Jolee lights, flowers and stockings dress up the tag.  The bow is tied with our mesh ribbon.  Regina created a 2 page layout with the fireplace on one side and the look of wallpaper on top.  On the other side is the window.  She learned how to create the window in Wendy’s class.  Regina used K & Co paper and K & Co snowflake and flourish embellishments (in stock).  We do sell the acrylic for the window!
Tag 8 –
This tag was created with glitter and a glue pad!!!  First of all, I covered the tag with a white bling cardstock.  I inked up my acrylic stamp with glue from the glue pad.  I then stamped the image onto the tag.  I then added glitter, one at a time, until it was covered.  I let dry overnight.  Then, I added a Pointsetter, 3-D ornaments (from K & Co), bows and stickles!  Regina Used K & Co paper andembellishments to dress up her page!  She also used the brushed red mirror paper.  She spray misted with our new color Spray mist, Santa Baby!
Tag 9 – Jesus is the Reason
This by far was one of our most popular tags!  We actually made a version of this tag for crop night as a make and take.  The tag was created by paula.  She really wated to create a manger scene, complete with the hay and lamb!!!  I think she did an awesome job creating this…and embossing and cutting things out!!

Tag #10 -Warm hands, Warm Heart

Designed by Paula

Time for a hip, but traditional Christmas tag!  Paula created this tag with real machine sewn mittens!  Addorned with rhinestones & holiday tinsel!  Perfect for the scrappin Diva.

Tag #11 – Saints

The magic of the Cuttlebug created this awesome Fleur de lis background!  Also, the Magic of the Cricut made the football and goal post.  I tried to keep the tag festive, like New Orleans, but not too girly.  The word “Saints” was cut with the Gypsy and accented with Stickles.

Tag 12 – New Years

I created this tag with another Vintage Clipart, given to me by my friend Donna.  I used a red ribbon rose & holly put together with a trinket pin.  I spray misted Pink Paislee’s foam shapes and added Prima flowers and a white feather!  The paper is by Echo Park and Basic Grey.  The bottom of the tag is lined with lace and red velvet ribbon.  I hope someone does a layout with it…and I’ll post it on facebook!!!

Christmas Creating going on….

The store has been full of people creating gifts for Christmas!  I have people asking me to post pictures on my blog because they don’t do facebook.  I’ll try and be better at doing this.  We’ve been so crazy at the store and keeping up with A website, Facebook and Blog is very time consuming.  But I know everyone is so busy and like to look at other people’s creations from the confort of their home….so here are a few things that people have asked me to post:

Here is a huge shadowbox that Paula help one of our customers make.  Paula sent her to Kinko’s to make a 3 foot copy of the castle, and they sat there and paper pieced the whole thing!  Tessie added pictures of her grandson and all the characters from Disney.  They created the filmstrip below with our binding machine!!!  It’s really cool!  Tessie left it in our store for everyone to see and enjoy until Christmas.  Come check it out!!

Here are some creations made in our Donna Downey Canvas class I taught yesterday.  We are out of the kits, but we do sell the Prima Canvas paper and Iron ons if you want to create a similar look.  I love the different colors my students chose!  Using Donna’s Foam Stamps is also a blast!

We carry Themed paper….and look at some cool layouts made with materials from our store….
