On the 6th day of Christmas my scrapbook store gave to me….

A Cajun Country Christmas Celebration tag!  “Heaux, Heaux, Heaux”

“Free” with a $10 or more merchandise purchase Saturday only!!!!

This tag was created with several really cool techniques!  First of all, I ran a 4″ x 8″ piece of chipboard through the cuttlebug.  We used the wood grain cuttlebug embossing folder.

Next, we stained it with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo stain.  We let it dry completely, added versamagic to the raised parts of the wood grain and added white embossing powder to it.  We heated the white embossing powder with a heat gun.  This made it look like snow on the wood grain.

We then added the pine cones, chili pepper, greenery and then popped up the vintage Cajun Santa.  We added a frayed burlap piece to the bottom of the tag with the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.  We then used Tim’s new distressed cardstock with Kraft color in the middle to hide the staples.  We added a mesh knotted bow and some Pine needle greenery for the finishing touches!   Definitely going to be a tag favorite!
